About two weeks of prep. There is no day-by-day plan: work the topics in order, one or two per sitting, and keep the tracker queue moving alongside. If time runs short, finish the coding topics (odd numbers) and topics 6, 8, 14, 19 first.
The official guide grades file handling, data structures, Big-O, common algorithms, plus structure, syntax fluency, bugs, correctness and efficiency. Candidate reports add a network round built around TCP/IP, ARP/DHCP/DNS, subnetting, L2, OSPF/IS-IS, BGP in depth and troubleshooting scenarios. Topics alternate Code and Network.
